Defining my goal

Defining my goal

Alice: Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?
The Cat: That depends a good deal on where you want to get to.
Alice: I don’t much care where.
The Cat: Then it doesn’t much matter which way you go.
Alice: …so long as I get somewhere.
The Cat: Oh, you’re sure to do that, if only you walk long enough.

It’s been 3 weeks now, as you can see on my progress page, and it’s about time to start planning ahead.

Honestly, I have no idea how am I going to achieve my goal, but one thing is certain, I need to have a clear goal.

I am currently staying in the US on a visitor visa, which is good for 6 months. In order to stay in the US legally, I will have to invest 500,000 dollars in US properties.
Although I can probably obtain an extension on my visitor visa, obtaining a green card will make it much easier for me to visit home whenever I want – and it means a lot to me.

Therefore, I set my goal as achieving half a million dollars in 6 months.

6 months sounds like such a short period, so i’ll split it into smaller time frames, and call it 26 weeks :)

I’m an open-minded person, I would really like to hear from you: what do you think of my goal?
